Ladies and gentlemen, le Mondial du Fromage.
One of the symbols of Tours (the French city in which I’m currently living) is a goat, and there is man who actually owns the town mascot! I didn’t realize it was a thing until I saw a man walking a goat a few days ago through the town center…. Of course, it’s been my dream to meet it since!
Anyway, it’s currently the weekend of VitiLoire, or the wine festival, and I was working in a tent outside. All of a sudden, the man and the goat approached! The goat actually head-butted me a few times, at which point his owner literally picked him up and put him in the plant box!
Needless to say, I couldn’t stop laughing, and it totally made my day!
P.S. As I was walking home from work, I saw the man and his goat again, and the goat had a balloon tied to one of his horns.
I just booked my trip to Morocco, and I am so excited! Next month, my friends and I are going to spend two days in Marrakech, then three days in Rabat.
Got a knockoff of this yesterday for $29! So excited to add this to my stack.
I found a little piece of heaven on earth at the Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Gardens in D.C. It belonged to Marjorie Merriweather Post, the heiress of Post Cereal.
Just because I love orchids.
